David Anthony, a Consulting Associate with Blanchard Malaysia, is passionate about all aspects of learning and development, and developing talent in organizations. He helps develop his clients’ leaders by building and implementing learning solutions tailored to their needs.
His 25-plus years of experience with local and global organizations in various industries such as banking, telecommunications, and business process outsourcing gives David an international perspective, which he applies to his work. His training and consulting experience extend to several countries across Asia, further enabling him to bring diversity into the discussion when working with clients. The solutions he has built with clients include learning-needs assessments, organizational-learning strategies, competency-formulation and gap-mapping plans, measurement and application strategy implementation tools, and talent assessment centers. His key focus is developing frontline employees’ and managers’ leadership capabilities.
In his former role as assistant vice president for learning and development in one of the world’s largest banks, David implemented many talent-development initiatives to build leadership capability and enhance organizational bench strength.
David holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Western Sydney, Australia. He is a certified Master Trainer for The SLII Experience™ and is qualified to deliver the Blanchard® suite of training solutions.
In addition to face-to-face facilitation, David is an accredited virtual facilitator and a certified coach, and he is certified to facilitate and interpret both MBTI® and DISC. He is actively engaged in executive leadership coaching for various organizations. Among his affiliations are the International Coaching Federation, Worldwide Center for Organizational Development, and Institute for Leadership and Management.
